Over A Quarter of a Century:
In 1979 the site at Brackley in Northamptonshire was established, it had been steadily growing in terms of production and sales when 4 years later in 1983 it caught the attention of the engineering giant Dana who subsequently purchased it and instilled the O.E. values and quality culture still prevalent today.
The company continued under Dana ownership for 14 years, the legacy of which is the high level of skill and know-how inherent within the highly experienced and specialised workforce - a fact proven by superior quality product that leaves the factory every day. More recently the facility was maintained as a stand-alone clutch production unit until a Management Buyout in January 2001.
Each member of the new team brought with them the individual expertise vital to what would be the future success not only as a capable production facility but also as a viable effective business unit.
With a quality of product that many other clutch suppliers find difficult to achieve, Clutchmaster have now introduced a new image and a specification and quality of packaging to match.
